Captain's Log - Chapter 33
Weather - Grey and wet

Lara Croft's Tomb Radier - Cradle of Life
Scripwriters for this movie either has a great sense of humour or utterly idealess of what they hope to achieve with the movie. I opted to catch this movie thinking it would not be that 'bad' given the fact that I thought the firt installment was pretty ok (rated 6.5 teddies out of 10 on Teddy's movie scale). Imagine the giggles of laughter ensuing from my thraot when the movie started.

Cradle of Bad Jokes would be an apt title for the movie. Sitting through the 2 hour movie was a drag. I have never seen such bad scripting in my life. Well, perhaps I have not seen enough movies to qualify as a movie critic, but hey I am entitled to my views. As for those guys who found the movie to be exciting; my question to them would not be - "which part of the movie do you like best"? BUT "Guys, what do you think of Lara's well-endowed...". As a guy, I do get a little disgusted with those who let their ehem... well rule over their brains. I am not saying that I am a saint or anything, but well, a bad movie's a bad movie. There's no two ways about it.

Oh yeah, nearly forgotten this. I am not sure which is worse... the movie or Jolie's attempt to speak Chinese. Well, she did get the diction correct, but, she spoke read the Chinese script using English as the platform for her pronunciation. Give me crappy heavy music anyday!

Guess I have not seen a great movie for a long long time. Perhaps with the exception of Matric Reloaded (10 teddies out of 10!!!). Hope Samuel Jackson will do justic to Tolkien in the final installment to LOTR. You will get a teddy rating then.

Food for thought:
If every Chinese fisherman in PRC has a satelite dish and plasma screen TVs (depicted in the movie), would there still be poverty in the world? The answer is yes. Simply because Lara is living in a world of her won. Perhaps she's simply someone plugged into the machine of the Matrix. This must be one bad joke from the machine. Well, there you are, machines do have a sense of humour too!
