Captain's Log - Chapter 26
Weather - Sizzling
Mood - Light-hearted

Boss still NUTZ but who really cares.
The pregnant female boss of mine continues to terrorise my colleagues through the continued and now accepted implementation of mindlessly ridiculous processes and redtape in our daily work. Being the highly jaded and cynical ole me, I just take it in my stride. The important thing is not to be toppled by such developments, but to be flexible and bend with the wind.

Escapism is not what I am advocating above, but FLEXIBILITY! So, the moral is be as flexible as yuo can, but never give up your principles and values. What would that make me if I gave up the very things that define me... hmmm... a hollow-man (yeah I know there's a movie titled as such). So, I would continue to do my work in peace as arrows and nonsense rain all over me. Venting off steam will come in the form of free-for-all management trashing when my colleagues get together for a break. Guess this is really essential for keeping our sanity now.

My Quote of the day -
"Be not the solid house in the path of the tornado, but that of the small flexible blade of grass in the porch."

Think this analogy will become blatantly clear once the tornado passes both the house and the grass. :)
