Boss gone NUTZ!!!
I wonder if pregnancy has anything to do with mental capabilities. Don't get me wrong. I think pregnant ladies should be proud of their condition. They are carrying a bundle of joy in their tummies which are the product of ahem... the love between them and their hubbies. But this condition seems to have some adverse effect, at least in the case of my boss!
Since the time her pregnancy became visible to me and my colleagues, she has been in an extremely weird mood. Adding red tape to our daily work seems to be a hobbie to her. Now, she goes about her daily work by making simple processes complex and adding additional and irrelevant processes to perfectly good work processes. Sometimes I really want to rip out my hair, not there's much left, and scream to her... and tell her to back off and stop putting up "roadblocks" in our daily work.
I sincerely hope that such a phenomenon is restricted to a rare few like my boss. Can't imagine what the world would be like if pregnant women goes around tampering with perfectly fine processes in the work environment.
